ICT PROJECT IDEAS

1. GAME
I’m going to make a computer game using a cheap game making software from the Internet. And Ill publish it myself. It wont be big, it wont be for like the Xbox or anything so I wont get involved with Microsoft and publishers and game testers and stuff. It will only be a small game for the pc. Like pong or pac man.
The software I think Ill be using to make my game is “Game maker 7.0” Its free because I don’t want to spend anything to make this. It contains functions for creating 3 dimensional graphics but Im not gonna do that because it will take too long. Its also very easy to use. And Ill just store it on a usb or something. Ill also release it on the Internet so that everyone can play it. Ill make a manual for my game and a box. Ill design the box cover and everything myself.
The game Ill make will be called “Gwa” It will be a platform game. You control a character and it will jump and land on stuff to get across and crush monsters when my character jumps on them. Basically supers Mario rip off. But I wont get sued because there are tons of that already. There’s a tutorial Im going to download online that will teach me how to create platform games using game creator 7.0.
Or I might make a maze game, its easier and there’s also a Tutorial for it. Maybe Ill do a 3d first person shooter. But I probably wont because it will be too hard. Creating a game is my main idea out of the 3. The Ict thing ill use in this idea is my game making engine because ill use that to make my game. Im probably going to need to do something ict to publish my game aswell. So the ict thing Ill use for this is the software to make the game.


2. FURNITURE
My second idea is a chair. Or furniture like a table and stuff. Its easy to make. I can make it myself. Ill do a concept idea for it.A diagram showing where all the pieces and stuff goes. I wont make it, ill probably get someone else to do it for me but ill do all the designing and stuff.
It will be made out of plastic or wood. The diagram would show where everything goes and what stuff ill be using but I wont actually make it because it will take too long. The ict things I will use to help me with this is the internet. Ill use it to research on now to make chairs and what to use and other furniture’s. I also might be using some drawing software thing to draw the diagram of the chair Im going to make. And if I want to make it ill also use the internet to get info and stuff about companies and try to find a company that will help me make my chair. I haven’t found any info and a company that will help me yet but I probably wont use this idea.


3. WEBSITE
My last idea is a website on tourism. The website will be aimed at tourists who want to visit Hong Kong. I will make the website. It will have info about where to go to see stuff and to eat and everything in Hong Kong.
It will have a directory and a map of Hong Kong and It will have a bit where it has info on all the places tourists would want to visit. I would also put places where people can put up ads so I get money. The website will have all the info and stuff about Hong Kong and Ill get the info off other websites and directories around Hong Kong. Ill also make videos and put them on.
I haven’t figured out all the technical stuff yet. Ill start doing all that once I decided that Im going to use this idea for my project. I found a website that will teach me how to make a website for tourism its www.tourismwebsitebuilder.com. Its also got a system thing to build one so Ill probably use that.
